Allen Dean Litwiller Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Allen Dean Litwiller of Paxton, Illinois, who passed away on October 4, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Litwiller and Alma Good Litwiller; and his siblings, Lloyd, Glen, Marvin Litwiller, Leona Slaubaugh and Irene Springer.
He is survived by: his children, Galen Litwiller (Clair) of Paxton, IL, Becky Hunsberger (Russ) of Shipshewana, IN and Shelly Jostes (Chris) of Canton, MI; his grandchildren, Marty Litwiller (Kellsi), Anita Parker (Ben), Aden, Beth, Katie, Caleb Litwiller, Andrew (Emilie), Jordan, Brandon (Maddi), Morgan, Ryan Hunsberger, Trenton Bixler, August, Gabriel, Anika and Grace Jostes; his great grandchildren, Annabel and Emmett Litwiller; his sisters, Dorothy Klassen of Hopedale, IL and Loretta Slaubaugh (Ed) of Loogootee, IN; and his sister-in-law Dorthea Litwiller of Goshen, IN..
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the Dewey Community Church (16 3rd St, Dewey, IL 61840). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at the East Bend Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to Gideon's International or Samaritan's Purse.
