Gigi Gantter Jarboe Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gigi Gantter Jarboe (Paxton, Illinois), born in West Point, New York, who passed away on June 8, 2025, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband Jeff; her children, Tony Jarboe (Catie), Darren Jarboe (Lindsey), Monica Jarboe-Zyskowski (Matt) and Melanie Jarboe (Fahed Al Qardhani); her siblings, Gail McGurgan (Vince), Gwyn Rogan (Bill) and Greg Gantter (Marsha); and her parents, Wally Gantter and Carol Gantter. She is also survived by eight grandchildren.
A rosary will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 3:15 PM at the Baier Family Funeral Services (406 E Pells St, Paxton, IL 60957). Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (407 W Pells St, Paxton, IL 60957). A burial will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at the Glen Cemetery (602 E Summer St, Paxton, IL 60957).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Mary Council of Catholic Women, United Community Fund of Paxton & Vicinity, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
