With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jean Emma Cooper of Paxton, Illinois, who passed away on August 1, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Donley and Sylvia Hamilton Donley; her former husband James Harding; and her siblings, Lois Reynolds and Chuck Donley.
She is survived by: her husband Stephen D. Cooper; her daughter Cassandra Harding (Josh Henderson) of Paxton; her stepdaughters, Cindy Warns (Ed) of Catlin and Peggy Gaddis (James) of Kirbyville, TX; her grandchildren, Briandra, Emmalee, Nevaeh, Charlie, Jeremy, Josh, Steve and Lisa; and her sisters, Mary Delheimer of Dwight, Helen Simmons (David) of Springfield, MO, Alice Simmons (Louis) of Jones and Jeanette Franklin of Fairbury. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Paxton Full Gospel Church, Alzheimer's Association or American Cancer Society.
