She was predeceased by: her parents, Dwain Grohler and Lois Ronna Grohler of Thawville; and her brothers, Gary, Jeff and Fred Grohler.
She is survived by: her husband Rick Nelson of John's Lutheran Church; her sons, Christopher Nelson (Sharon) of Elkhorn and Michael Nelson (Amanda) of Paxton; her grandchildren, Carter Nelson, Henry Nelson, Owen Nelson and Oswin "Winnie" Nelson; and her siblings, Sharon Friesner of Sacramento and Vernon Grohler of Beaverville. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Evangelical Covenant Church of Paxton, the Gideons International, the Alzheimer's Association or a charity of the donor's choice.
