He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Thompson and Eldora Swanson Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Janet Sandstedt; his daughters, Cindy Schaumburg (Rick) of Bloomington, Julie Edwards (Kurt) of Loda and Chris Bock of Loda; his grandchildren, Eric Schaumburg (Renee), Lisa Stanek (Tim), Laura Gross (Ryan), Austin Edwards (Alisha), Ally Briones (Andrew), Emily Lange (Jordan) and Jake Bock (Kristi); and his brother Ron Thompson of Loda. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Paxton Covenant Church.
