He was predeceased by: his parents, Lafe William and Irene Dyer Cook; and his sister Donna Meyer. He is survived by: his children, Carl Cook Jr. (Kelly) of Kirkland, WA, Tracy Cook of Winston-Salem, NC, Lyle Cook (Jessica) of Quincy, IL, Josh Cook (Barbie) of Tooele, UT, Chad Cook of Quincy, IL, Jena Bowman (Patrick) of Belleville, IL and Jered Cook of Payson, IL.; his grandchildren, Lafe, Kyle, Maddie, Seth, Noah, Nathaniel, Brooklyn, Wil, Reese, Denali, Brantley and Harper; his great grandchildren, Malia, Aries, Lillyanna, Penelope and Rosalie; his sisters, Janet Timpe (Harlan) of Donnelson, IA and Joan Weeks (Rock) of Mendon, IL; and his brother-in-law Joseph Meyer of Pekin, Illinois. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
