We announce the death of Cheryl Lucille Hickerson of Payson, Illinois, who passed away on June 19, 2026, at the age of 71. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Hackamack and Norma Wieseman Hackamack; her niece Rachel Wilbers; and her sister-in-law Patricia (Edward). She is survived by: her husband Roger Lynn Hickerson; her children, Kelli Platt (Teddy) of Hull, IL and Erik Hickerson of Durham, MO; her grandchildren, Dalton Platt of Hull, IL, Rider Hickerson (Lilly Thompson) of Ewing, MO, Caitlin Hochgraber (David) of Liberty, IL and Haleigh Hickerson (Anthony Page) of LaGrange, MO; her sisters, Paula Hackamack Miles (Jamie Long) of Fowler, IL and Lori Jones (Bryon) of Palmyra, MO; and her nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Megan, Caroline, Jeffrey, Tami, Jeremy, Stacy and Brent.
