He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Dingerson and Margaret Dingerson (Schnellbecker); his wife Diane Kay Green; and his siblings, Earl, Bob, Raymond Dingerson, Alvina Campbell, Anna Mae Hunziker, Bessie Sprague, Cora Lee Davis and Mary Ellen Deters.
He is survived by: his children, D. Kevin Dingerson of Payson, IL, Beth Kurfman (Gary) of Quincy, IL, Brock Dingerson of Palmyra, MO and Tyler Dingerson (Anne) of Bozeman, MT; his grandchildren, Drew Dingerson (Kayla), Jena Schafer (Billy), Ethan Dingerson (Olivia), Reagan Kurfman (Natalie), Elijah Kurfman (Abby), Lydia Kurfman, Benjamin Dingerson, Warren Dingerson and Faye Dingerson; his great grandchildren, Jerzie Wolf, Sawyer Schaffer, Grant Schaffer, Wren Schaffer, Frankie Dingerson, Levi Long, Jack Dingerson, Miles Dingerson, Henry Dingerson, Autumn Kurfman, Coraline Kurfman, Max Kurfman and Emery Kurfman; his sister Norma Perry (Bob); and his in-laws, Peggy Kasehammer, Ruth Ann Sullens and Karol Dingerson.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the O'Donnell-Cookson Life Celebration Home (435 State St, Quincy, IL 62301). A graveside service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Bluff Hall Cemetery (951 N 400th Ave, Payson, IL 62360).
