She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Cooper and Helen Cooper (Dopheide); her husband Gary Schieferdecker; her son Bob Schieferdecker; her parents-in-law, Kenneth and Emma Schieferdecker; her siblings-in-law, Larry Schieferdecker, Joe Schieferdecker and Diann Schieferdecker; and her nephew Scott Schieferdecker.
She is survived by: her children, Greg Schieferdecker (Rachel) of Quincy and Julie Uppinghouse (Randy) of Payson; her grandchildren, Andy Boden (Janelle), Heidi Logsdon (Matt), Tyler Schieferdecker (Abby), David Boden-Shackleton, Katie Asbridge (Matt), Lucas Schieferdecker (LaKaylee) and Kristie Crane (Daryn); her stepgrandchildren, Arika Pipkin (Josh) and Austin Uppinghouse (Haley); her sister Patricia "Pat" Cooper; and her siblings-in-law, Terry Schieferdecker of Quincy, Marcia Schieferdecker and Doris Schieferdecker. She is also survived by 20 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the O'Donnell-Cookson Life Celebration Home (435 State St, Quincy, IL 62301). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Columbus Road Baptist Church (3601 Columbus Rd, Quincy, IL 62305).
