He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Gallaher and Leola Gallaher (Wright); his wife Shirley Kelly; his grandson Brandon Meyer; and his brother-in-law Erling Skaflestad.
He is survived by: his daughters, Debbie Catterson (Jerry Coram) of Plainville, IL, Sandra Waters (Jeff) of Payson, IL and Teresa Stephens (Rodney) of Camp Point, IL; his grandchildren, Cheryl Fish, Danielle Catterson, Samantha Catterson (Nick Ashner), Brittany Waters, Zachary Waters, Tyler Meado (Kelsey), Jordan Meado and Devin Meado; his sister Bonnie Skaflestad of Hoonah, Alaska; his close friend John Coram; his brother Jerry; Stephanie Meyer. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to be made to the Park Lawn Cemetery or the Quincy Humane Society.
