He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Baumgartner and Gladys Baumgartner (Peifer); his son Curt Baumgartner; his in-laws, Rodney and Zelda Reiter; his sisters, Pat Hess and Carlene Roelke; his brother-in-law Jim Hess; and his nephews, Andrew and Michael Roelke.
He is survived by: his wife Faline Baumgartner of Pearl City; his children, Deb Siegmeier (Jerry) of Pearl City, Tim Baumgartner (Mary) of Pecatonica and Kevin (Tasha Dyson) of Pearl City; his sisters, Mary Brinkmeier (Norm) of Lanark and Linda Janssen (Darius) of West Point, IA; his brother-in-law Dennis Roelke; and his grandchildren, Keri Kluck (Dan Knautz), Kelsie Kluck, Cody Kluck (Sophia Gibson), Tara Adams (Dean), Chase Baumgartner (Amber), Austin Baumgartner (Britney), Grahm Rademaker (Courtney), Grayce Gale (Seth), Allie Baumgartner (Justin Bardell), Andrea Kuntz (Logan) and Amber Baumgartner (Pavel Shouse). He is also survived by his 13 great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Zion Community Church (10100 W Sabin Church Rd, Pearl City, IL 61062). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
