Gary Brinkmeier Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Brinkmeier of Pearl City, Illinois, who passed away on December 17, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Brinkmeier and Viola Brinkmeier (Snapp); and his brothers-in-law, Forest and Harry. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Brinkmeier of Pearl City; his children, Ryan Brinkmeier (Shirley) of Dekalb and Lynnetta Greenfield (Tim) of Forreston; his grandchildren, Chase Greenfield (Makenzie Fink), Hailey Greenfield, Kaitlin Brinkmeier and Dominick Brinkmeier; and his brothers, Steve Brinkmeier (Pam) of Pearl City and Norm Brinkmeier (Mary) of Lanark. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Gary's name for the Quad Cities Honor Flight.
