He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles and Rachel Traum (Shippy); his half-sisters, Ardith Leverington and Betty Rumsey; his son Darin; and his grandson Michael Traum.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Traum (Sherman); his children, David (Kim), Derek (Lisa) and Diane Taller; his grandchildren, Ryan Klikno (Megan), Heather Kinney (Jeff), Kayla Traum (Art Koch), Brandon Traum (Cassandra), Jana Taller-Copa (Jhonny), Sara Nelson (Britani), Mike, Dan and Kris Yeager; his great grandchildren, Peyton, Taylor, Jordyn Klikno, Hailey, Tucker, Harper Kinney, Xavier Koch, Christopher, Hunter Traum and Eithan Taller-Copa; and his brother Jack Traum (Ellen).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McCorkle Funeral Home- Pecatonica Chapel (203 W 5th St, Pecatonica, IL 61063). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
