He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Mitchell and Elizabeth Mitchell; his sisters, Abby Lindquist (Rick) and Queenie Cox (Jerry); his brothers-in-law, Dick Sarver and Steve Dickinson; and his daughter-in-law Michelle Mitchell.
He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Brad Mitchell (Lisa) of Pecatonica, Bruce Mitchell (Becky) of Pecatonica, Laura Holub (Jamie) of Pecatonica and Todd Mitchell of Arlington Heights, Illinois; his grandchildren, Greg Mitchell (Heather), Doug Mitchell (Cayla), Emily Mitchell, Brian Mitchell (Kate), Scott Mitchell (Katie), Andrew Holub, Cameron Holub (Katelyn), Ella Mitchell and Ben Mitchell; his great grandchildren, Kennedy, Quinn, Brooks, Harper, Carter, Gia, Layla, Sophia, Jackson Mitchell, Logan, Myles, Owen and Amelia Holub; and his sisters, Dixie Sarver, Susie Johnson (Don) and Jo Dickinson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
