He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Cox and Mary Helen Cox (McCracken); his brothers, Edward Cox, Jr. and John Cox; and his daughter Elizabeth Cox.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Cox (Nadolny); and his children, William Cox, Jr., Joan Mullins, David Cox, Ann Cox, Kate Neer, Nell Cox, Joseph Bruscato, James Bruscato, Jay Bruscato and Mary Gorsline. He is also survived by his nine sons and daughters-in-law, his 20 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
