He was predeceased by: his father Walter Shawgo. He is survived by: his mother Sandra Shawgo (Creemens) of Mackinaw; his wife Cathy Whited of Pekin; his daughter Ally Hantak (Tom); his grandson Abner Hantak of Marquette Heights; his daughter Madison Shawgo (Michelle) of Peoria; his sister Michelle (Craig); his friend Pam Zepplin (Scott) of Pembroke, GA; and his in-laws, Deacon Ernie and Sandy Whited of Pekin.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory (2131 Velde Dr, Pekin, IL 61554). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
