She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Pfanz and Carrie Pfanz; her husband Jack Buchanan; and her siblings, Ramona Righi, Don Heihs, Dick Heihs and Ron Pfanz.

She is survived by: her sons, Brett and Brian Buchanan (Carin); her brother Daniel Pfanz (Carolyn); her sisters-in-law, Jody Buchanan, Linda Pfanz and Joyce Risinger; her grandchildren, Carrie (Dustin), Beau and Brooke; and her great grandchildren, Brynn and Tanner.
