With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charlene M. Caryer of Pekin, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 4, 2025 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Charlene M. Caryer to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Walter and Mary M. Reuling (Strassburger); her husband David J. Caryer; her nephew Ricky DeBoer; her father-in-law Oscar Caryer; and her brother-in-law Gene Caryer.

She is survived by: her daughter Jody DeWitt (George) of Pekin; her grandsons, Ethan Fischer (Chelsea) of Pekin and Austin Johnson (Mariah) of Pekin; her great grandchildren, Sophia Johnson, Coral Fischer, Kaibree Fischer, Sawyer Johnson and Camden Fischer; her niece Sandy Meyers (Jay); and her pets, Luna and Izzy.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or T.A.P.S., causes close to Charlene's heart.
