It is with sadness that the passing of David August Blume of Pekin, Illinois is shared. David, born on February 28, 1938, passed away on November 1, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
David will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor David by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though David is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. David’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Thomas and Bertha Agnes Blume Sr. (Kutz); and his wife Kathleen Bush.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (303 S 7th St, Pekin, IL 61554). A Mass will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Vincent De Paul Society, St. Joseph's Church Building Fund or Tazewell County Genealogical & Historical Society.
