We bid farewell to Dean Ward McCoy of Pekin, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 5, 2025 at the age of 82. Dean touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton McCoy and Virginia McCoy (Cruise); his stepfather Charles Jackson; his daughters, Michelle Renae and Dena Faye; and his grandson Elijah Bikai.
He is survived by: his stepson William Bikai (Michele) of Pekin; his grandsons, Brandon Bikai (Savana), Ben Bikai (Rachel Brakebill) and Gabriel Bikai (Savanna Crider); his great grandchildren, Dalton, Jalynn, Blake, Brayden, Eliza, Edin, Jaxson and Eliana; and his siblings, Kim Jackson of Morton, Bob McCoy (Joann) of Spring Bay and Charlie McCoy of Peoria.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 3rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Moose Lodge 916 (2605 Broadway St, Pekin, IL 61554).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to the South Side Mission of Peoria, Illinois.
