With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dennis Wightman (Pekin, Illinois), who passed away on December 18, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his son Tommy Wightman; his parents, Robert Wightman and Gladys Wightman; his sister Hilary Meyer; his brother-in-law John Meyer; his parents-in-law, Stan and Clara Zimmerman; his aunt Marie Zaayenga; and his sister-in-law Robin Zimmerman.

He is survived by: his wife Malinda Wightman; his children, Anthony Wightman (Cheryl), Emily Van Cleve (Phil) and Jimmy Wightman; his grandchildren, Reece Van Cleve, Neilan Van Cleve and London Wightman; and his nephew Bobby Meyer. He is also survived by in-laws, nieces, and nephews.

“Dennis and I became good friends after meeting in late 2011 during a consulting project he was performing in Pittsburgh. Was an immediate rapport. We shared many wonderful business lunches, football & hockey games and concerts together. We had many a great laugh and terri I looked forward to our monthly chats after he retired back to Cincy. We are deeply saddened by the news of Dennis passing. Our deepest sympathies to Melinda and the Wightman family at this challenging time. Dick Mogle”
