With solemn reverence, we commemorate Gordon L. Morris of Pekin, Illinois, whose life came to an end on October 29, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Everett Morris and Lucille Marie Thurman Morris; his wife Betty Jean Morris; his siblings, James Morris, Richard Morris and Donna Autrey (Raymond); his children, Helen "DeeDee" Stephens and Lammone Anouraj; and his granddaughter Jeanne Rae Stephens.
He is survived by: his children, Debby Hoehn (Dennis) of Pharr, TX, Teresa Sebelist (Richard) of Pekin, Gordon Lee Morris (Sherry) of Pekin, Lissa Angus (Mike) of San Diego, CA, Tammy Payne (Ron) of Springfield and Rhonda Howard (Mike) of Pekin; his sisters-in-law, Gladys Morris and Janice Shehorn; and his close friend Nia Pirnat. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory (500 N 4th St, Pekin, IL 61554). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
