He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Menk and Thelma Menk (Hibschman); his siblings, Dick Menk and Joyce Elaine; his daughter-in-law Jacqueline Menk; his granddaughter Cheri Ann Menk; and his stepson Ray Long.
He is survived by: his children, Steve Menk of Platte City, Missouri and Sheila Newton (Dale) of Bartonville; his stepdaughters, Tammy Long and Vicki Long; and his brother Morris Menk of Foley, Alabama. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory (500 N 4th St, Pekin, IL 61554). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
