Though Honor may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Widler and Gertrude Widler (Thomas). She is survived by: her brother Tom Widler of Pekin; her stepsons, Delmar Deiss (Kathie) of Pekin and Bob Deiss (Amy) of Mapleton; and her grandchildren, Robert Deiss (Kendra) of Ashland, Michele Caruana (Ben) of Galesburg, Ryan Deiss (Jill) of Mackinaw and Troy Deiss of Mackinaw. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory (500 N 4th St, Pekin, IL 61554). A memorial service was held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
