He was predeceased by: his parents, Andy Thomas and Erma Thomas (Hafley); his daughter Kathy Pearson; and his siblings, Carl, Loren, Earl Thomas, Sylvia Freeman, Imogene Arms and Shirley Crane.
He is survived by: his wife Della Antonini of Pekin; his children, Gordon Thomas (Linda) of Hopedale and Stephenie Bowman (John) of Pekin; his sister Louise Collison of Bluffs, IL; and his son-in-law Howard Pearson of Pekin. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren.
