The memory of Joann Gill of Pekin, Illinois, who passed away on October 17, 2025 at the age of 92, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert W. Shirley and Josephine Shirley (Sealock); and her son John Robert Gill. She is survived by: her husband John Barton Gill; her daughter Diane Zaayenga (Marty) of Pekin; her grandchildren, Jennifer Hall (Dan) of Pekin, Christofer Zaayenga (Tara) of Green Valley, Amber Irby (Tim) of Pekin and John "Jake" Gill (Stephanie) of Mackinaw; and her siblings, Barbara Moschel of Morton and Robert Shirley of Micanopy, Florida.. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Glendale Memorial Gardens (18119 IL-9, Pekin, IL 61554).
