He was predeceased by: his parents, John B. Goeken, Sr. and Mary M. Goeken (Dick); and his sisters, Ada M. Litwiller, Mary Beth Watts and Verla B. Goeken.

He is survived by: his wife Miriam L. Clauser; his children, Vicki A. Larimore of Pekin, Curtis J. Goeken (Kathy) of Green Valley, J. Mark Goeken (Cindy) of Green Valley, Amy L. Goeken of Peoria and Eric D. Goeken (Janeie) of Pekin; and his brother-in-law Marlowe D. Clauser of Rio Rancho, NM. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one great great grandchild.
