John M. Svendsen Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John M. Svendsen (Pekin, Illinois), who passed away on February 24, 2021 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Knud Svendsen and Kathryn Svendsen (Cash); and his siblings, Bob Svendsen (Carol), Dan Svendsen (Joni), Byron Svendsen, Terry Svendsen and Yvonne Keyster.

He is survived by : his daughters, Shalene Svendsen-Ward (Dennis) of Peoria, Danna Davis (Bradley) and Dynae Schmitt (Gary); his grandchildren, Rhiannon Ward, Natalie Davis, Cayden Schmitt, Hailey Schmitt, Lachlan Ward, Whitney and Wendy Davis; and his siblings, David Svendsen (Donna) of Pekin, Tom Svendsen (Sharon) of Pekin, Mike Svendsen (Barb) of Pekin, Sonja Stanford (Guy) of Canada and Margie Baxter of Oregon.
