Joy Curtin Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on March 23, 2026, at the age of 95, Joy Curtin of Pekin, Illinois passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joy Curtin to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Burt Hughes and Hattie Peterson; her spouse Glenn Lawler; her siblings, Ralph, Dwight, Don and Edith; and her daughter Donna Lawler.
She is survived by: her sons, Mark Lawler and Gary Lawler (Marla); her stepchildren, Cheryl Kadinger (Larry) and Ed Curtin; her niece Linda Kingry; and her grandchildren, Kristina Funk (Ben), Dan Lawler, Kevin Lawler (Tracy), Mike Harshbarger (Bobbi) and Stacey Elliot. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorial contributions be made in Joy's honor to TAPS No-Kill Animal Shelter at 100 TAPS Lane Pekin, IL 61554 as she had a fondness for cats throughout her life.
