She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Goolsby and Sandra Schappaugh; and her stepfather Larry Wilhelm. She is survived by: her sons, Trevor Goolsby (Mary) and Dale Parker, III; her brothers, Christopher Goolsby and Matthew Goolsby (Shannon); her grandchildren, Edward, Nikolai and Theresa; and her pet Precious.
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made in Joy's honor to TAPS Animal Shelter, 100 TAPS Lane, Pekin, Illinois 61554.
