June Adele Berndt Obituary
In loving memory of June Adele Berndt of Pekin, Illinois, who departed this world on October 25, 2025 at the age of 83. June leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John J. Starkjohann and Florence M. Starkjohann (Patnoe); her grandsons, Benjamin and Jack Berndt; and her siblings, Robert, Clifford, Floyd Starkjohann, Betty and Joyce Starkjohann.
She is survived by: her sons, Rev. Matthew Berndt (Shana) of Manito, Michael Berndt (Cindy) of Parker and Brian Berndt (Melissa) of Pekin; and her grandchildren, Andrew, Kaelyn, Isaac, Ethan, Thomas, Lucas and Timothy Berndt.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 31st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. John's Sand Prairie Lutheran Church (13443 Townline Rd, Green Valley, IL 61534).
