He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland M. McCowan and Mary Ruth "Rosie" Phillips McCowan. He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Lord (Herb) of White House, TN and Terry McCowan (Teri) of East Peoria; and his grandchildren, Erica Hoover (Keith) of White House, TN, Josh McVay (Annette) of Clarksville, TN, Jaydon McVay, Emma Hoover, Jace McVay and Joseph McVay.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Cornerstone Baptist Church (18040 Unsicker Rd, Groveland, IL 61535). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
