She was predeceased by: her parents, Milford Strubhar and Dorothy Strubhar (Hazlett); her grandchildren, Kate Rebecca Coyer and Luke Christopher Coyer; and her siblings, Milford "Gene" Strubhar, Delores Sisk and Carol Hoerr.
She is survived by: her husband Paul Duane Brown; her children, Paul Steven "Steve" Brown (Renee) of Brimfield and Susan Coyer (Kevin) of Pekin; her grandchildren, Ben Coyer (Katy), Chris Coyer, Eric Brown (Merica), Stephen Brown, Philip Brown (Lori) and Alicia Brown; and her sister Evelyn McRae of Pekin. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory (500 N 4th St, Pekin, IL 61554). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Glendale Memorial Gardens (18119 IL-9, Pekin, IL 61554).
