With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marilyn Kay Curtis of Pekin, Illinois, who passed away on November 25, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Marilyn Kay may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Laumeier and Katherine Laumeier (Stewart); and her siblings, Harlan Laumeier, Earl Laumeier, Eleanor Harris and Betty Wiseman.
She is survived by: her husband Leland Curtis; and her daughters, Kim Birkmeier of Pekin, Teri Heaton (Micheal) of Van Buren, Lori Drummer (John) of Pekin and Mary Barnes (Rhett) of Pekin. She is also survived by six grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
