He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Shane and Colette Shane (Lowman); and his brother Steve. He is survived by: his wife Carole Shane (Birdsell); his sons, Eric Shane (Kim), Andy Shane (Megan) and Toby Shane (Carrie); and his grandchildren, Braden, Ryan, Draven, Harper, Conley, Beckett, Fionna and Emmett.
