She was predeceased by: her parents, Dean E. Allen and Treva L. Allen (Lingenfelter); her daughter Cynthia Barker; and her sister Priscilla Gesell. She is survived by: her sons, Jeffrey Barker (Stacey) of New York City, David Barker (Keri) of Mitchell and Rev. Gregory Barker (Teresa) of Fort Wayne, Indiana; her grandchildren, Matthew McKibben (Ashley), Madalyn Miller (Ryan), Benjamin Barker, Emily Barker (Miguel), Myah Egwuonwu (Ifeanyi), Abigail Barker (Douglas) and Isabelle Barker; her great grandchildren, Oliver Miller, Shiloh Miller and Allen Egwuonwu; and her brothers, Dexter Allen (Sandra) of Clayton and Daryl Allen (Jan) of Decatur.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory (500 N 4th St, Pekin, IL 61554). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Pekin First Church of the Nazarene (3514 Broadway St, Pekin, IL 61554).
