She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde McDowell and Roberta McDowell (Keltner); her son Neal Riek; and her granddaughter Amanda Riek. She is survived by: her children, Debbie Hild (Don) of Pekin and Kyle Riek (Louann) of Ft. Myers, Florida; her grandchildren, Linsay Swigart (J. P.) of Villa Grove, Lee Riek (Jessica) of Stuart, Ashley Flannery (Shane) of Locust Grove, Olivia Riek of Bartonville and Shelby Hild of Creve Coeur, Missouri; her great grandchildren, Miles Swigart, Julie Swigart, Jordan Flannery, Trevor Riek, Raeleen Flannery, Hunter Riek, Eislee Graham, Carlos Oritz and Liliana Gonzales; her sister Fay McDowell of Spring Lake; her sibling's children, Graham Watson (Amy) and Abby Pittman; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Summer, Issac, Garrett and Jacob.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory (500 N 4th St, Pekin, IL 61554). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
