She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne Ockerby and Phyllis LaVonne Ockerby (Baggett); and her brother Richard Ockerby. She is survived by: her husband Harold J. "Mitch" Mitchell; her sister Janice Kern (Albert) of Del Mar, California; her sister-in-law Nancy Ockerby of Eureka; and her sibling's children, Cami Ockerby-Davis (Kip) of Chicago, Tara Kuehnert (Matt) of San Diego, California, Jonathon Ockerby of Washington and Todd Kern (Christina) of San Diego.
