He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyle Potter and Lillie Mouson Potter; his wife Marlene Broadfield; and his sisters, Dorothy Potter, Francis Tyler, Ginnie Boatman and Gloria Carpenter.
He is survived by: his siblings, Susan Shaw of Pekin and Steve Moritz of Roanoke, IL. He is also survived by two sons: two daughters.
