With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Raymond J. Smith of Pekin, Illinois, who passed away on March 14, 2026 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond R. Smith and Ethel Smith (Allen); and his siblings, Jacob Smith, Donna Smith and Ruth Dowell.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Smith of Pekin; his daughters, Jean Grys (Stephen) of Pekin, Rose Ingolia of Pekin and Susan Rushing of Pekin; and his sisters, Rose Caulkins of Manito and Patty Plummer (John) of Tremont. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren.
