It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rhonda Lee Bowcott of Pekin, Illinois, born in Helena, Montana, who passed away on December 17, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Ronald Gordon; her stepfather Bill Barnes; and her siblings, Margie Stitz and Danny Gordon. She is survived by: her mother Evelyn Gordon (Kringer) of Pekin; her children, Billy Gehring (Lilly) of Peoria, Gary Whitehurst (Michelle) of East Peoria and Sarah Stonebock (Kyle) of Peoria; her stepdaughters, Jennifer Ossola (Ryan) of Peoria, Jodi Bowcott of Pekin and Judi Bowcott of Peoria; her grandchildren, Will, Birdie, Ava, Kyle and Tori; her sisters, Joann Stiles of Pekin, Barbara Bice of Manito and Viola Stiltz of Easton; and her stepsiblings, Beverly Barnes of Louisiana and Paul Barnes of Illinois.
