As we bid adieu to Richard's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Richard has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert LaVallier and Fern LaVallier (Rarick). He is survived by: his wife Janet Kuerth; his children, Michael LaVallier (Kami) of Loudon, TN and Angie Bybee (Mark) of Clever, MO; his grandchildren, Kiersten and Kaden Bybee; and his sister Marilyn Clements of Normal, IL.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory (2131 Velde Dr, Pekin, IL 61554). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
