He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Roland C. Wherry and Miriam Wherry (Platt); his son David Scott Wherry; and his brother Philip C. Wherry. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Jeanne; his sons, John R. Wherry (Joyce) of Pekin and Richard V. Wherry (Deanne) of Medford, Massachusetts; his daughter-in-law Kara S. Wherry of Algonquin; and his grandchildren, Chandler, Loren, Audrey, Zayne, Zariah, Aidan and Tess.
