He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Gerald Bailey, Sr. and Helen Bailey (Mordue). He is survived by: his children, Daniel Bailey (Mandi) of Pekin, Kelli McIntyre (Brian) of Pekin and Sara Musulkin (Sergei) of Champaign; and his grandchildren, Skylar, Cameron, Brayden, Olivia, Ariyanna Bailey, Ali Hoskins, Hope Stoor (Bob), Bailey Bartels and Dylan Bartels. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; several siblings; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Roy L. King VFW Post 1232.
