He was predeceased by: his parents, Eloyd Simpson and Francis Rush Simpson; and his brother Don. He is survived by: his children, Shane Michael Williams of Missouri, Crystal Parker (James) of Peoria, Rachel Lawson (Josh Kingery) of Pekin and Ronald E. Simpson Jr. (Chantal) of Canton; his grandchildren, Taven, Caitlyn, Dominic, Cora, Alexander, James, Ana and Keira; and his great grandchildren, Aspyn and Ryker. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
