It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Cheri Buffington of Peoria Heights, Illinois, born in Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on June 19, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Earl Baker and Rozena Hart Baker; her husband Ralph Buffington; and her brother Pete Baker. She is survived by : her children, Liana Collins, Bon Buffington, Peggy Lear (Gene) and Ralph W. "Bill" Buffington (Kimberly). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren.
