She was predeceased by: her brother Jerry "Nik" Backus. She is survived by: her children, Jessica Moser (Derek) and Jared Wilson; her brothers, Richard Backus (Jolly) and John F. Backus III; and her grandchildren, Owen Moser and Teagan Moser.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Entertainment Center (3214 N Dries Ln, Peoria, IL 61604). Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Wilton Mortuary (2101 Knoxville Ave, Peoria, IL 61603).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Richard L. Owens Hospice Home.
