We are sad to announce that on September 22, 2022, at the age of 71, Alan Lee Livengood (Peoria, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jack Livengood and Genia Hywel Livengood; his sons, Derek Livengood of Chillicothe, MO and Jared Livengood (Julia) of Chillicothe, MO; the mother of his children Mary Livengood of Chillicothe, MO; his grandsons, Dreavyn and Khias Livengood; and his siblings, Jackie Cothren of West Peoria and Lenny Livengood (Peggy) of Edwards, IL. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Midwest Affiliate.

“I Wish the Livengood Family and Friends Peace During This Time of Sadness.... A Short Memory: Al and I were classmates at Woodruff High School. He was smart, kind, funny and involved. At Christmastime, during our sophomore year, he presented me with a puppy. Needless to say, I quickly learned the responsibility of being a pet owner. We kept in touch through college and as often happens we lost contact when we graduated. I see Al's smile, bright gaze and remember him with warmth.”
