He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Buchanan and Sarah Buchanan; his wife Catherine Webster; and his children, Mitchell and Barbara Barnes.
He is survived by: his children, April Nosalik (Chet) of Sesser, Cindy Fuller (Steve) of Scottsboro, Alabama and Ken Buchanan (Gwen) of Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin; and his brothers, Norman of Peoria and Ronnie (Pat) of Cartersville, Georgia. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel (2021 N University St, Peoria, IL 61604). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
