She was predeceased by: her parents, Anna Kowalski (Holweck) and Albert Kowalski; her husband Frank Scudder; her siblings, Robert Kowalski and Marguerite Mullally; her son-in-law Ron Richardson Sr.; her grandchildren, Ronnie Richardson Jr., Tripper Scudder and Hannah McNeil; and her stepgrandson Zachary Bokal.

She is survived by: her children, Deborah Richardson (Patrick Elwood) of Peoria, Stephen Scudder of Peoria, Frank Scudder of Peoria and Michelle Webb (Ryan) of Elmwood; her stepchildren, Tony Hill of Overgaard, Arizona, Dr. Amy Bokal (Jeff) of Vonore, Tennessee and Justin Scudder of Peoria; her grandchildren, Christine Brown (Nick) of Belleville, Randy Richardson (Brandy) of Peoria, Dr. Aisha Smith (Josh) of Delavan, Clayton McNeil of Peoria, Emily McNeil of Elmwood, Andrew, Kayla Bokal of Vonore, Tennessee and Lily Scudder of Peoria; her great grandchildren, Andrew Akers, Holly Brown, Hannah Brown, Brady Richardson, Jacob Richardson and Liberty McNeil; Cecelia, Miles, Elizabeth, John, Juliana, Joseph, Mary and Veronica.

A rosary will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the St. Philomena Catholic Church (1000 W Albany Ave, Peoria, IL 61604). Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to PCAPS and Sophia's Kitchen.
